Have you ever tried a social media challenge to boost your following? That’s exactly what I did on my Instagram account (@julian.varricchio), where I posted every day for 30 days. The results were impressive and I’m excited to share them with you. Here’s a breakdown of my growth:
- Following increased by 2.4%: My followers grew from 2,784 to 2,857.
- Reached 74% more accounts: I was able to reach 30,900 accounts, up from 17,600.
- Engaged with 83.3% more accounts: My engagement increased from 960 to 1,758.
- Post interactions increased by 144%: My posts received 1,062 interactions compared to the previous 30 days’ 731.
So, what did I do to achieve this growth? Here are some of my tips and insights:
- Consistency is Key: Posting every day for 30 days may seem daunting, but it’s the key to growing your account. When you consistently post content, you build an audience that looks forward to seeing your updates. Make sure to keep the quality of your content high to keep your followers engaged and interested in what you have to share.
- Engage with your Followers: Engage with your followers by responding to comments and direct messages. This helps to build a relationship with your followers and makes them feel valued. It also helps to increase your visibility, as Instagram prioritizes accounts that have a high level of engagement.
- Use #Hashtags: Hashtags are a great way to increase your visibility on Instagram. When you use relevant hashtags, you make your content discoverable to users who are searching for those keywords. Make sure to use a mix of popular and niche hashtags to reach a wide range of users.
- Collaborate with Other Users: Collaborating with other users is another great way to grow your Instagram account. When you collaborate with other users, you have the opportunity to reach new audiences and gain new followers. Collaborations can be as simple as shoutouts, guest posts, or brand partnerships.
- Utilize Instagram’s Features: Instagram has a variety of features that you can use to grow your account. For example, Instagram Stories allows you to reach your followers in a more personal and engaging way. You can also use Instagram’s built-in analytics to track your progress and see what’s working and what’s not.
- Be Authentic: Authenticity is key to building a strong and engaged following on Instagram. Be yourself and share content that is true to who you are. This will help you to build a genuine connection with your followers and keep them engaged.
- Patience is a Virtue: Growing your Instagram account takes time and effort. Be patient and keep posting quality content, engaging with your followers, and utilizing Instagram’s features.
- Post at optimal times: Research the best times to post on Instagram for your target audience and make sure to post during those times to maximize visibility.
